P5 had an out-of-this-world experience during their recent visit from Mr McClelland!
The pupils spent the day getting hands-on with exciting STEM activities, exploring science, technology, engineering, and maths in a fun and creative way.
First, the children worked together to design and build their very own battery-powered moon buggies. They showed fantastic teamwork and problem-solving skills as they figured out how to power and control their creations. It was wonderful to see their ideas come to life!
The excitement didn’t stop there…
The class also made rockets and had the chance to launch them on the school grounds. Watching the rockets soar into the sky was definitely a highlight of the day, with plenty of cheers and smiles all around!
Everyone had such a fantastic time learning about all things STEM in a practical, engaging way.
